The Chinese Program has designed an M. Cert. (Master's degree in Chinese Teacher Certification for the State of Maryland), in collaboration with the College of Education. It is currently awaiting approval within the School of Languages.
A track in the M.A. Program in Second Language Acquisition & Application is also expected to be opened after the approval of the M. Cert.
