St. Mary's Computer Lab
The Open Workstation Lab (OWL) located in St. Mary's Hall is open to the whole campus but serves the special needs of the foreign languages taught on campus. This computer lab has ten Dell Optiplex GX/100 computers to serve the needs of the Language House clusters. Running Windows NT and a multi-language version of Microsoft 2000, these machines offer students the ability to create and edit documents in a variety of languages including Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish.
St. Mary's Hall is located just west of Jimenez Hall. This lab is open from 9:00 am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. For information about the Language House at St. Mary's Hall, visit www.languages.umd.edu/lh/.
