The Independent Study Lab in JMZ 2224 has four television stations that can play VHS cassettes or DVDs. To use the lab, first come to Language Media Services in JMZ 1204, ask for the desired movie, and we will remotely play the movie from the VHS/DVD consoles in our office downstairs. You will be given a remote control that allows you to remotely operate the video consoles in our office from the television stations in the lab. A student ID is required for use.
There are also two high-speed audio cassette copiers available in the lab. You may copy any audio cassette onto your own blank audio cassettes; our office does not supply blank cassettes. Be sure that the length of the blank cassette is equal to or greater than the length of the source cassette. Instructions are available by the copiers.
