All that you need 2 communicate
National Foreign Language Week was inaugurated in the Spring of 1957 by Alpha Mu Gamma to make the United States aware of the need for and importance of foreign language study. The chapters of Alpha Mu Gamma, now spread through over forty states, took the initiative in organizing activities during the Week with the purpose of making the American student aware of the vital necessity for foreign language study.

The Language Center, College of Arts and Humanities, coordinates joint programming efforts sponsored this year by the Departments of Asian and East European, Classics, Comparative Literature, English, French and Italian, Germanic Studies, Spanish and Portuguese; Business Culture and Languages, the Career Center, FOLA, the Institute for Global Chinese Affairs, International Education Services, Dorchester International House, Language House, Language Media Services, Latin American Studies Center,Study Abroad Office, the Office of International Programs, and the National Foreign Language Center.
