Equipment Catalog
At this time equipment can be checked out or reserved by faculty, staff or TA's of the language departments ONLY
Instructional materials:
Videos, audio cassettes, laser-discs, and cd-roms are available for checkout by faculty or viewing by students.
Please familiarize yourself with our checkout policies before using our services at LMS.

A complete list of audio-drill tapes is posted outside room 1204. A complete list of all available videos is located in room 1204 or online .
Audio equipment:
All audio equipment is available for checkout by Faculty in Jimenez hall room 1202. To include:
- 6 portable audio cassette players/recorders
- 8 portable Cd players
- One portable record player
- Microphones and Headsets for use with cassette recorders
- The Tandberg portable audio lab student listening/recording station
Video equipment:
All video equipment is available for checkout by Faculty in Jimenez hall room 1202. To include:
- 2 portable vcrs for use with the mounted televisions in Jimenez classrooms.
- 1 Standard AV cart with only VHS playback capability
- 2 Standard AV carts with DVD and VHS playback capability
- 1 Multiregion VHS cart for nonstandard VHS playback
- 1 Multiregion DVD cart for nonstandard DVD playback
- 2 VHS format Camcorders with Tripods
- A laserdisc player can be set up upon request for playback on an AV cart or in one of the Jimenez tech rooms.
- A loose Multiregional DVD player can be set up upon for playback on an AV cart on in one of the Jimenez tech rooms.
- A loose Multiregional VHS player can be set up upon for playback on an AV cart on in one of the Jimenez tech rooms.
Computer equipment:
2 smart carts for multimedia projection are available. Both are equipped with:
- 1 lcd projector for visual playback
- 1 Multiregional VCR
- 1 Dell laptop with wireless internet connection
- speakers for audio playback
- DVDs can be played in the laptop
- 1 lcd projector for visual playback
- 1 Dell laptop with wireless internet connection
- speakers for audio playback
- DVDs can be played in the laptop
All equipment is limited to use within Jiménez Hall, unless special arrangement has been made with the LMS Supervisor or Coordinator.
