Congratulations! Dr. James Lesher

Dr. James Lesher has been named a Senior Fellow at the Harvard University Center for Hellenic Studies. The Center, located in Washington D.C., consists of a central library building containing approximately 100,000 monographs and a complete collection of scholarly journals relating to classical antiquity, and residences for the twelve Junior Fellows who spend a year in residence at the Center. (Dr. Lesher was a Junior Fellow during the 1981-82 academic year.) Appointed for five years, the Senior Fellows are leading scholars in major subdisciplines of Ancient Greek studies, such as philosophy, history, literary criticism, philology, epigraphy, and archaeology.
