Undergraduate Persian Flagship Program Scholarship

Domestic

Exceptional students applying to the Undergraduate Persian Flagship Program will be considered for a scholarship. Students must file the FAFSA form (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) in order to qualify and be considered for the scholarship. UM's FAFSA code is 002103. Once a student has signed up for Flagship and has filled out the FAFSA, the student is automatically considered for this scholarship. Scholarships are competitive and subject to availability.

Overseas

Graduate Persian Flagship Fellowships

Unfortunately, due to the discontinuation of federal funding, the Graduate Flagship program will be discontinued and the University of Maryland will not offer an MPS or Certificate in Persian Studies for the upcoming 2012-2013 academic year. We are hoping to develop an alternative MPS program with a study abroad component for future students. Please continue to check our website for program developments and updates.
