Persian Handbook
Welcome to the study of Persian. This online handbook is meant to serve as an introduction to strategies and resources that can assist a student in his or her study of the Persian language, and has been developed under the auspices of the National Middle East Language Resource Center (NMELRC).
The handbook is divided into four sections:
- A brief introduction to the Persian language
- Learning foreign languages in general and Persian in particular
- Similarities between Persian and Arabic
- Useful resources for the student of Persian including links to web-based resources
