Overseas Study

UNDERGRADUATE

Students interested in studying abroad should speak to their academic advisor. Students who would like to study abroad are encouraged to visit the University of Maryland Study Abroad Office for information and general advising related to current university policies and procedures. Their site also provides information on study abroad scholarships and other helpful resources to help you plan your trip and ensure that your credits transfer.

Students who are financial aid recipients should also visit the University of Maryland Office of Student Financial Aid to learn about applying any standard financial aid awards to studying abroad.

Undergraduate Persian Flagship students can find out more about overseas study programs in Dushanbe, Tajikistan by visiting the American Councils for International Education website. Scholarship information can be found here.

Applicants to undergraduate Flagship programs may also apply for David L. Boren Scholarships, SMART grants, and the Academic Competitive Grants Program.

Scholarships are available in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. For information about scholarships for summer or full-year study overseas, contact the undergraduate advisor. The overseas portion of the program is managed by the American Councils for International Education.

GRADUATE (Persian Flagship Students Only)
